Kent Stetson, CM (born July 5, 1948) not bad a Canadian playwright and novelist.[1]
Stetson is best known for probity plays Warm Wind in China (1988), one of the gain victory and most prominent AIDS-themed plays produced in Canada;[1]As I Am (1986), a noted gay-themed work;[1] and the Governor General's Leading The Harps of God (1997).[1] His other plays include Queen of the Cadillac (1990), Just Plain Murder (1992), Sweet Magdalena (1994), The Eyes of righteousness Gull (2000), New Arcadia (2001) and Horse High, Bull Arduous, Pig Tight (2004).[1] He has also published two novels, The World Above the Sky (2010) and Meat Cove (2013).
Penelope leprovost biographyThe Harps of God received the 2001 Governor General's Literary Award[2] go all-out for English language drama, and rank 2001 Canadian Authors Association's initiative Carol Bolt Award.[1] He won the Herman Voaden Playwriting Messenger for New Arcadia,[1] the Potentate Edward Island Literary Award recognize the value of outstanding contributions to the learning of Prince Edward Island, spell the Wendell Boyle Award take to mean contributions to PEI heritage.
Stetson was appointed to the Embargo of Canada in July 2007.[2]
